Cultivation dependent and cultivation independent enzymatic and molecular assays for microorganisms and smaller animals, bioassays for toxicity and endocrine disrupting chemicals, automated luminometry and fluorometry, isotope techniques (13C and 14C), GC-FID, GC-MS and GC-C-IRMS analyses.
