Det spildevand, der behandles i verdens renseanlæg, indeholder en masse nyttige næringsstoffer og råmaterialer, som kun i ringe grad bliver udnyttet i dag. Et hold forskere, støttet af Novo Nordisk Fonden, vil ændre dette.

Joining forces to build Azerbaijan’s new sustainable training center in environmental engineering
A team of researchers is visiting Aalborg University as a part of an effort to bring Azerbaijan’s resource utilization into a more sustainable future. The goal of the ITACA Project is to train graduated students and solve the emerging issues in the field of environmental remediation of the country.

Talented chemist chosen for data science fellowship researching batteries
Rasmus Christensen, a research assistant at Department of Chemistry and Bioscience AAU, has been awarded a PhD fellowship as one of the first from the prestigious Danish Data Science Academy. His goal is to help build better batteries using new disordered electrode materials such as glass.
